Honoring History and Our Fallen Soldiers

To commemorate Memorial Day John shares these images of a 45-star flag that has been in his family since the early 1900’s. The Newland family has military roots which include John's father, Stewart, pictured on the right with John's Grandfather, “Grand Stu” and many others dating back to the American Revolution. Displaying the flag helps us to remember and honor those who have died during their service. We wish you all a Happy and Safe Memorial Day weekend!

One of Athens’s Favorite curiosities is the Whitehall Mill Lofts Complex on Whitehall Road and the North Oconee River. This private community of refurbished riverside warehouses-turned-sleek-urban-lofts has all the nooks and crannies of a commercial complex with hidden gems of style and design obscured by the whitewashed brick exterior. We had the opportunity to remodel a unit for a client with great style and some very tangible goals for the limited square footage. ABR holds a special place in our musical hearts because it benefits Nuci’s Space, a non-profit organization that provides mental health and other life resources to musicians and local rising stars.
